The interest in Australia in the breeding of Cashmere Goats for improved production is unique in history. Our Cashmeres are a new Agricultural enterprise derived from wild animals and selected to produce a luxury product.
The concept of Goat Notes to capture and share learnings was first conceived by Gordon Hill and built on by Jim Browne, Lucinda Corrigan and Jock Simmonds. The Australian Cashmere Growers Association is grateful to the many people who contributed generously to its development.
We plan to progressively update and expand the notes as time allows.
